“I’ve had the pleasure of saying with Meemos several times now for both business as well as personal time. In every occasion the Meemo’s team has displayed exceptional service and professionalism. The accommodations are 5-star and the food is fantastic. Hunting dogs are well trained and fields have consistently been well maintained year over year—allowing significant cover that holds birds well into the winter months. During downtime I would highly recommend the sporting clay course. One of the best I have ever been to.”
“Meemo’s Farm proved to be the perfect venue for IMACC’s recent Leadership Development Retreat. Their thoughtfully designed blend of rustic luxury, woven into its well crafted and subtly-groomed wilderness experiences made it easy to almost instantly detach ourselves from the daily grind and become appreciatively reflective. That proved to be the perfect mindset for two days of creative thinking, open-minded problem-solving, and all-important team building.
The solid wood light shades above the exquisite driftwood dining table made a perfect setting for the gourmet meals, and also served as our Board Room discussion center. I watched as our team observed the wood grains and complex driftwood roots that mysteriously support the table as we distilled seemingly convoluted problems into naturally simple solutions. I haven’t seen that happen so easily at any of my previous hotel resort meetings.
The multitude of diverse outdoor physical activities are adapted to nearly all levels of fitness and kept our blood flowing. With a diverse team ranging in age from young thirties to older sixties, we all comfortably participated. The drive to Meemo’s was both pleasant and reasonable, and the cost/value is excellent. We will be back.”

“I’ve taken family members to Meemo’s Farm each of the last two years. We schedule our trip to arrive about 11:30 AM so we can unpack and put the guns together before lunch. With the excellent food served at Meemo’s, no one wants to miss lunch. We spend the next few hours in well laid out pheasant habitat. It’s as much of a thrill watching a young teenaged grandkid hit his first pheasant as it was years ago watching my son hit his first. After dinner (last year it was roast duck, which was certainly memorable as ten months later I still remember it), we soaked in the hot tub at the Lanes.
The next morning after breakfast, it’s sub-gage time as we follow hard working dogs putting up chukar. After another chef prepared lunch, the older generation breaks out the side-by-sides and it’s back to the fields. It’s a mixed bag of pheasants and chukar this time. We finished the four course dinner with flourless chocolate cake which reminds me of another Michigan favorite, Mackinaw Island Fudge.
For our final morning at Meemos, we always take a golf cart and shoot the sporting clays course. If you haven’t shot a truly great sporting clays course yet, you owe it to yourself to shoot this one. In fact, my son says that the clays course by itself is worth the trip to Meemos Farm. We have lunch before starting our journey home as we want to ensure that there’s no cake left over.”
“Mark, I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Meemo’s Farm. Below is a list of events that we participated in when we visited last time along with a rating. Feel free to share this with prospective clients as I would recommend Meemo’s Farm to anyone! Thanks again, looking forward to our next trip up!”
“We are a group of military veterans who love our dogs and pheasant hunting. Over the years we have traveled to many states and stayed in all types of hunting lodges. For our 25 anniversary yearly hunt we wanted to stay somewhere special. We picked Meemo’s and could not have been more pleased. Mark and his staff are professionals in every aspect of running a pheasant hunting lodge. The lodge is a hunters dream and very clean. The sleeping quarters are outstanding with beds as comfortable as the “Ritz Hotel”.
The food is prepared by a professional chef and phenomenal. You will never be hungry! There are many available activities to do after the hunt such as… pool table, shooting games, cards, and a bonfire pit. Meemo’s also has a world-class sporting clays course which our group enjoyed. The guides are very professional the fields have good cover and the birds fly! We could not have been more pleased with our PSHC 25th anniversary hunt and thank Mark and his staff for the outstanding memories. We will be back!

“I live an EXTREMELY busy lifestyle with work and family life, getting away and traveling for me, when the time presents itself, is VERY important to me! Three years ago I looked into taking my family on a trip to “get away!” Somewhere secluded, somewhere that had that “cabin feeling” but also the amenities of a 5-star hotel and found EXACTLY what I was looking for with Mark and his staff at Meemos Farm and Resort.
We will be going for our 5th time in three years this winter. Every stay we have had thus far has been filled with GREAT memories, great experiences, and UNBELIEVABLE HOSPITALITY. The seclusion of both The Cabin and The Lanes, the rustic appearance on the outside and elegance on the inside, as well as the countless additional things to do (4 wheeling, shooting range, zip-line, kayaking) and much more has offered us a place to stay with so much more than we ever dreamed.
Everything about each place has been “state-of-the-art” but still with the feeling of “home!” If you are reading this and still wondering, please don’t and experience the same things that me and my family have experienced at Meemos, and start building your own memories now!!!
